SAN ANTONIO – Mala Luna Music Festival returns for its annual two-day musical binge and announces its daily lineup and the addition of hip-hop superstars, Young Thug and 2 Chainz.
Although it may be spooky season, the festival cemented itself as the de facto music festival of Halloween weekend for the Alamo City.
This year, the festival continues its big-name presence with the announcement of large national acts including Cardi B, Tyler, The creator, Nicky Jam, Lil Pump, Becky G, Rich the Kid, Gunna, Lil Baby, and more.
Recently announced for day two are hip-hop heavy hitters 2 Chainz and Young Thug. This last-minute addition ends the festival on a high note for bringing top national talent to our backyard.
If the city is lucky enough, maybe Kanye West might make an appearance alongside Lil Pump for their recent hit, “I Love It.” (JK). West most recently has come under fire for statements made and a speech given on Saturday Night Live in praise of President Donald Trump while wearing a Make America Great Again hat.
Last year, the festival hit a home run with its first year hosting the show in the parking lot of the Nelson Wolff Stadium. Festival goers were treated to a dual side-by-side stage where acts shared the stage alongside one another.
In addition to the major acts headlining this year, there are up and coming supporting acts that attendees should be on the lookout for.
