SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio’s best bartenders from local restaurants and bars converged for a friendly competition benefiting the San Antonio River Foundation Thursday evening.
The 8th Annual Rivertini Cocktail Competition hosted 21 bars and restaurants for a night of music, fun, laughter, cocktails, and treats.
Bars & restaurants participating in the competition included the Esquire Tavern, Barbaro, Bohanan’s, Zocca Italian Cuisine, Paramour, Ocho, Concrete Jungle and much more.
San Antonio standouts, Grayze on Grason, took home the prize du jour with their winning cocktail, “Como La Flor.”
The cocktail had a mysterious and vibrant flavor mixing Reyka Vodka & Lillet Blanc infused with honey, strawberries, and Moroccan Mint Tea.
Taking home second and third place respectively was Esquire Tavern, a back-to-back feat at the Rivertini competition.
Daytime @ Nine hosts Kimberly Crawford and Esteban Solis took part in the competition by judging and tasting the best cocktails each Rivertini competitor had to offer.
